When entering the crypto world, we must not only be equipped with skills and careful thinking, but also be vigilant, especially to avoid fraud and theft/hacking. Some common types of fraud and theft include fake ICOs, Ponzi schemes, phishing, social engineering, and more.

The skills and intelligence of fraudsters are also increasing, allowing them to obtain personal information/data of crypto owners through various means, such as airdrops embedded with dust attack malware. Fraudsters and criminals can even easily purchase data from hacked crypto exchanges.

It is absolutely difficult but if you follow airdrop from exchange like Binance and Bitget, you are likely to be fine. Airdrop that have solid social media presence. If airdrop don't have strong presence in platform like X, there is problem and likely scam. Review what others are saying about the airdrop! These signs can give you reasons to know whether it is fake or real.
