How to split large file size downloads on mobile?

On desktop computers, it is possible to split the downloads, so that the download is not lost if the internet connection is interrupted. Is there a similar software available for smartphones for splitting large downloads if the bandwidth is used up?

I think it depends on the browser and the file. There are some files I have downloaded on mobile with chrome browser, I was able to pause the download for days and still continue from where I stopped. But there where some files that refused to continue.

Try to use UC browser on mobile. The way the download feature of UC was made, all downloads are handle as split files after which they are merged. That makes you able to continue the download even if network fluctuates and the file downloads faster.
