According to the report, hundreds of Palestinians in northern Gaza held what is being called the largest protest against Hamas since the October 7 attacks on Israel. Videos and photos shared on social media on Tuesday showed the demonstrators in Beit Lahia chanting "Hamas out" and "Hamas terrorists" and demanding an end to the war with Israel. The protest took place a week after the Israeli army renewed its intense bombing of Gaza following a nearly two-month truce. As the war between Israel and Hamas escalates despite the truce, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen, especially after Israel blocked the passage of aid into the territory on March 2 in an attempt to force Hamas to release Israeli hostages.
