Loads of shops sell ice where I live - it's always hot and humid here because it's a tropical country. When I didn't have a fridge, I had to snag two blocks of ice every day. Even people who have fridges still buy ice blocks - probably, because they don't have time to make it or their fridge, is rammed with food and there is no space for ice trays. Maybe the ice-selling business still depends on the area and the weather or others.

This is a good business, especially now where we do not have proper power supply, so people tend to reply on ice blocks more now than before. Though it also has its own challenges.

Ice blocks can be a profitable business, especially if your store is in a prime location. Have you ever found yourself needing ice blocks when there is a power outage in your area?

Nope, we always tend to manage since the only thing we preserve are just our food and to get cold water. Though there was a time the blackout was so long that we had to result to buying ice blocks.

During power outages, people tend to buy more ice blocks. I do the same in case of an extended power failure.

Yea, though right now the cost of ice blocks has increased drastically.
