The first vital step for self-improvement is identifying your core values and priorities. Your values are the deeply held beliefs that provide meaning and purpose.
In doing this, you are also defining your values like growth, creativity, health, and relationships which may also help you guide your goals. For those married people, dedicate your prime time to your family thus a relationship with them will be nurtured.
Cataloging priorities makes values tangible. You have to adjust what you used to be in life to make a balanced decision for the development of your personality and relationship with family and friends. It's also best to write down and reflect on the values and priorities and maintain alignment with the self-improvement compass.

I totally agreed with you. A lot of people are only interested in immediate gratification. They don't sit down and analyze their life and make important decisions. Sadly, a lot of people don't have a priorities and values.

You're so right, only a very few people aligned themselves with values and priorities. They are contented with come what may.
