According to the report, big win for the Israeli army as it avenged the death of 7 Israeli soldiers, killing two Hamas operatives in Gaza's Khan Younis. IDF and Shin Bet carried out a fierce joint operation eliminating Hamas terrorists Mosaab Yasser Abdallah Galban and Abd al-Latif Mousa Hagag Barbakh, who were responsible for the deaths of seven Israeli soldiers in a deadly ambush in Khan Younis on June 24. Seven soldiers were killed during fighting in the southern Gaza Strip after an armoured vehicle they were in was hit by an explosive device, marking one of the deadliest incidents for the Israel Defense Forces in months.
