In the business world its better to work with our employees and its better to help them so that we can grow our business, but if we act like a boss and try to command them without helping our workers then the business will never grow and our workers will not like us.
There is a huge difference between being a boss and being a business leader. When you are a boss, you tend to lord it over your employees. And you know what that leads to? Revolt. When you are a business leader, you create a team atmosphere and that inspires your staff to take the bullet for you.
The more we try to command, the more people might not be willing to help out. But when we make it a lot easier for people to communicate with us, it makes the business go a lot smoother.
ln this case the business owners would be more humbled and practice to be fair to all the other business stake holders. This would create the balance and thus facilitate the smoothly running for the business which can keep the business to it's growth journey.
I have seen business people that always want to be bossy not being able to retain staff for up to or more than a year. No one wants to work with a control freak. A bossy business owner would likely be abusive.
Pride is the major cause of downfall of most businesses. Bossy attitude spring from pride and selfishness. There is nothing that kills a business like humiliating and insulting employees. Employees are the makers and destroyers of a business. Accommodate them and see your business blossom.
A good entrepreneur is also a good leader. A good leader is inspiring and motivational. He leads the group and is encouraging and gives space and opportunities to everyone. No one likes to be controlled at work place. A bossy and over controlling owner might discourage the people working under him.
Bosses dictate and control, breeding resentment and low morale. True business leaders, however, foster a team spirit. They inspire, not intimidate, creating a loyal and motivated workforce that's willing to go the extra mile.
