Impact of social media on mental health

I have mixed feelings about using social media. I have cut down on the time I spend on it and even deactivated my personal Facebook account for my peace of mind. On the bright side, social media does help me stay entertained, primarily through platforms like TikTok.
 
It mainly depends on how you use it. Everything has it's good side and it's bad side. Social media has helped to make connections a lot easier and at the same time, there are does who have gotten a negative effect from it.
