The first freelancing site I joined was Upwork. After joining I started bidding for jobs but sadly, I was always rejected. It took some time to get my first client, I slashed my rate by 50 percent to win the bid, but once I did the job and got 5 start review, I started receiving jobs. I was mainly working for revises as my rate was way lower than the client budget. When I started getting good reviews, I used those to build credibility and attract more clients.
