"Impossible" Tehran Rejects US-Backed Caucasus Corridor, Claims It Limits Iran's Regional Access

The report said that Iran has strongly opposed the US-backed transit corridor in the South Caucasus, calling it "impossible" and warning it would restrict Tehran’s regional access, fragment Armenia, and threaten regional security. Senior adviser Ali Akbar Velayati emphasized Iran’s readiness to block the corridor, even without Russian support, amid rising tensions following a US-brokered peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.


Ayatollah is still threatening with dysfunctional bravado. Is killing all he thinks about? Does the word peace ever enter his mind? So sad a person is brought up to hate. Iran should not threaten anyone, or they could become the graveyard they talk about.

Well, the countries should have a consensus and all interests protected. Without that, there is likely to be tension and unrest in that region. We have enough conflict already, let peace take place.
