The report said that when India and Pakistan clash, the world often is forced to sit up and take notice. It’s seen as another episode in a long, bitter rivalry. Religion and Kashmir add to the potent mix. Then there is the ever-present threat of terrorist attacks. Cross-border skirmishes are followed by a lull. And this pattern has been repeating for the last 30 years.

These two countries have fought wars and traded fire many times. But diplomacy, usually nudged along by the US, has always pulled them back. Even serious battles stopped short of nuclear threats. But this time feels different.

This war needs to stop. It does not define its purpose, it's simply because they are targeting civilians and important infrastructure. Why can't the two leaders talk for peace?

The two neighbouring countries are always at loggerheads. Pakistan harbours terrorists and other militants who are extremist. India is growing in technology and are no longer interested in those religious war and want a better life. Pakistan moslems want to conquer India and dorminated them.
