India is a developing country in Asia. It has its own sets of problems like any other country would have. But one can not deny or overlook the way India Haa made progress with it's Economy in the last decade. It surpassed UK to become the fifth largest Economy in the world recently. And yesterday, IMF declared that India is the 4th largest economy at 4 trillion dollars. It has surpassed Japan. India has a huge population and that comes with it's own set of problems. But then the youth population becomes the strongest asset too. One can't ignore the strong political leadership in the last decade. Here is the link to read the news in detail.

It should percolate down to the poorest of the poor and it does not . Most money is held by may be just 10 set ups. The economy unfortunatley is calculated on the total but not how it is distributed.

Hmm...you got a good point and that can't be denied. I wish that it was done. But what seems promising in the last one decade is that things have improved a lot on these grounds too, though far from the ideal. But it's still a long to go. Our poverty has reduced noticably. And schemes have reached well to deserving ones. We are on right direction and that's promising.
