The first known Indian caught in the ongoing conflict was captured by Ukraine after he was suspected of fighting for Russian forces. Two years ago, 22-year-old Sahil Majothi from Gujarat, India, traveled to Russia to pursue a degree in computer engineering. He was wrongfully accused in a narcotics case last April, according to his mother. According to a video shown by Ukraine's army on Tuesday, Mr. Majothi joined in the Russian army in order to avoid being imprisoned on drug-related accusations. According to the Indian foreign ministry, it is looking into the matter and has not heard anything official from Ukraine. The Russian government has been requested to respond by the BBC.

That could be the result because that Indian student was accused of getting involved with drugs. He is in a crucial country, hard to negotiate, and the war is ongoing. If he is not guilty, then most likely he will be acquitted soon.
