It’s interesting how a lot of influencers today aren’t just sticking to posting content — some are actually starting their own brands, selling products, or partnering with companies. Social media has really turned into a launchpad for business opportunities.

But at the same time, I feel like having a lot of followers doesn’t automatically mean you’ll succeed. It still takes effort, planning, and the right mindset to turn that clout into something sustainable.

What do you think — can influencers really make it long-term as entrepreneurs? And if you had a big following yourself, would you use it to build a business?

I find this a very interesting topic because it reflects how the business landscape has changed in recent years. Today, many influencers aren't just limited to generating content; they're creating their own brands, launching products, or even partnering with companies to bring much larger projects to life. In a way, social media has become a kind of springboard for entrepreneurship.

Social media really makes it easier for influencers to start a business without needing huge capital. Marketing is also simpler now — unlike before when you had to carefully study where to sell and invest a lot upfront, influencers can promote their products directly online. Of course, having followers alone isn’t enough; it still takes effort and planning to make it work long-term.

These days influencers are building themselves as a brand, some even go as far as having their own customized items or even products they sell. As for how long this would last, i guess time would tell.
