Insecurity in Nigeria is a complex issue with multiple factors contributing to it. Some of the main causes include unemployment, corruption, imbalance in development, weak judicial system, porous borders, and high influx of arms. The country has witnessed unprecedented security challenges, including Boko Haram terrorist attacks, militancy, armed robbery, banditry, kidnapping, and Fulani-herders farmer
These security threats have adverse effects on the economy, affecting price, output, employment, trade balance, and more. The lack of security deters prospective investors, leading to stagnation of commercial operations, especially in the northern region.

The government has taken steps to address insecurity, including deploying additional military and police forces, improving operational coordination, and intelligence-led operations.

The insecurity in Nigeria might be one factor why there are only a very few tourists coming, or no tourists at all. Many will be afraid to enter your country. The government could ask for help from other countries to eliminate the bolo haram, terrorists, and other culprits that play havoc on human lives in Nigeria.

The causes of insecurity in a nation should be corruption, illiteracy &ignorance etc

But in a nation like Nigeria, the case is totally different. There are many factors contributing to insecurity in the country like government and it's cabals, oppression of other political parties by the leading party, drug substance abuse and alcoholism.
