Internet disrupted in the Middle East because of underground cable damage.

The Communications Department of Qatar has announced that there is internet disruptions across the Middle East.

The internet disruption as announced is due to an underground cable damage in the Red Sea. People have reportedly experienced slow internet connection in Qatar and other Middle Eastern countries.

We experienced this some time last year and it was very frustrating. Hope they fix this soon as it can ground many sectors.

I hope this internet outage was not caused by malicious entities. The middle east is full of these types.
