They will experience big financial losses. There are risks in investment and once never care about what they invested they will be like killing themselves. Yes, if you go for short-term or day trading, you need to monitor the market on a daily basis. For me, I aim at long-term investment. I do not have the time to monitor the market very closely on a daily basis.

My mutual investment and stocks are long term so there is no need for me to monitor daily however it's advisable to monitor at least once s month to get updates.
