In terms of profitability I believe you can make more money by investing in your own business compared to someone else's business. But to profit form your own business you need to work hard and success is not always guaranteed. Interestingly,it is easier to invest in someone else's business and make profits. If you do a research, and invest in profitable business, investing in someone else's business can be better.

There are pros and cons. If you invest in your own business, you take control. But you have to work hard to make profits. If you invest in other people's business, you just need to keep an eye on the performance of the business, and you can withdraw your investment if things do not turn out right.

I will never invest someone else investment. I have to be smart. Why waste money, energy, and time for others when I can do it for my investment. Win or lose no one blames me. The fault will fall on me in case I won't profit. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Here professionals/investors from poorer communities find it difficult to run online businesses, due to lack of orders even if they try very hard due to lack of support. However they can make some money, investing in shares of other companies or mutual funds.

If you have a business, of course you have monitored and analyzed your business whether it needs additional capital or not, while investing in other people's businesses such as buying stocks, we also need to analyze the fundamentals of the company. Investing in your own business will make bigger profits but also bigger risks.
