Iran Arrests Woman Who Stripped in Protest at "Abusive" Hijab Policing

According to the report, Iran has arrested a woman who stripped in protest at "abusive" hijab policing after volunteer paramilitary Basij members physically harassed her for not wearing hijab properly.

The report said that they ripped the student's hijab and tore her clothes. After the confrontation, the student was walking around the campus without her clothes on, in protest, when she was arrested and allegedly beaten up.

The report stated that while the woman's condition and whereabouts are currently unknown, she is being applauded on social media for her “bravery”.

Meanwhile, it seems not much has changed for Iran, which was rocked by nationwide protests against the dress code after Mahsa Amini’s death in the custody of the morality police in 2022.

I salute this brave girl he he. She was not afraid to die , She has shown her principles. Women should be given the privilege to dress as they like. Religion and primitive culture is depriving women their freedom. It is unfair and very unfortunate. I thank God that am living in society where people have the privilege to dress as they think fit. Iran have a very bad precedent in violating women's rights.
