According to the report, Iran has said the US would be "responsible for the consequences" of Israel's deadly June 13 attacks on the country. Tehran’s foreign ministry said Israel’s aggressive actions can’t have been carried out with ‘US permission and coordination.’“ The Zionist regime's aggressive actions against Iran cannot have been carried out without the coordination and permission of the United States”, a statement by Iran’s foreign ministry said. It added that the US was "responsible for the dangerous impact and consequences of the Zionist regime's adventurism."
Meanwhile, an aide of Iran’s supreme leader has also pointed fingers at the alleged American involvement in the IDF’s “Rising Lion” operation. “All the evidence shows that the Zionist regime is not acting alone”, Hossein Shariatmadari, editor-in-chief of Iran’s Kayhan newspaper, said. US bases should not be overlooked in any Iranian retaliation, he added while speaking on state television.
