According to the report, Iran witnessed one of the most dramatic protest waves in its modern history as demonstrations spread to more than 30 cities amid a collapsing rial and deepening economic crisis.

The report added that it began as anger over inflation, unemployment, and living costs, and is now evolving into an open rejection of clerical rule. Chants once synonymous with the 1979 Islamic Revolution have reversed.

Additionally, protesters are now heard shouting “Death to Khamenei” and “Long live the Shah,” signaling growing nostalgia for the pre-revolutionary Pahlavi era and unprecedented defiance of the Islamic Republic’s foundations.
