According to the report, on February 2, Iran unveiled the Etemad ballistic missile during a ceremony in Tehran attended by President Masoud Pezeshkian. State television reported that the missile has a range of 1,700 kilometres, making it capable of reaching Israel. The Etemad missile is part of Iran’s broader effort to strengthen its defence capabilities, including space technology development. Pezeshkian stated that Iran’s missile programme aims to deter any potential attack on the country.
The report said that during the event, Iran also showcased three domestically produced satellites: the Navak communications satellite and updated versions of the Pars-1 and Pars-2. Pezeshkian indicated that Tehran is open to negotiating a new nuclear deal with the United States, which could lead to sanctions relief and economic benefits for Iran.
The report also added that the same day, Iran introduced the upgraded Bavar 373-II air defence system. The system features enhanced radar sets that allow each launcher to operate independently and has improved detection tracking and engagement ranges. It can simultaneously track 60 targets and engage six at once. Pezeshkian reiterated that Iran’s military advancements are for defensive purposes and not intended for aggression.
It seems Iran does not like progress and peace for their country. They better send the money building for their economy's growth that serve their invention to kill . I hope this could be evaded by the Israel Iron Dome. I think last israel attack said they destroyed Iranian missile factory and they won't be able to build missiles for months and how come they building so much new missiles? There is no evil intention to triumph.
