I have seen people describe themselves as professional tour guides. I don't know how such services are primed to be professional businesses that one can run. Do you think that a tour guide could be a professional business enough?
I think being a tour guide can make some money. But nowadays, a lot of people prefer to travel and plan their own itinerary. That said, tour guide still has a market.
Tour guides here are graduates from BS Tourism and with license. They are mostly working in government sectors. They will be pulled out once tourists are coming.
Yes i believe this is a good business to go into, though i feel this is only lucrative in certain areas, especially places with lots of tourists centers.

A professional tour guide won't work for my country. People depend on people that they know to give them directions around a place they are visiting for the first time.
