Is a videogame shop targeted at only the young people alone?

Some people are of the opinion that when you operate a videogame shop, that you are only targeting the young part of the population. Does a video game shop has to be targeted at only young people? Can elderly people be possible patrons of a video game shop?!

Older people have responsibilities and don't really have the time to patronize a game shop. A videogame shop is majorly for young people.

Yes majority of them usually have their own consoles at home, but there are some who still go to these centers, especially during their hangouts, if they are a group that loves playing games, it's usually more fun in these public places.

This is beautiful. I would consider opening a video game shop that would attract mainly the older persons. It could be very viable.

Maybe you would probably have more young customers maybe, but the substantial difference will be above all in the types of video games you would sell. Young people are more fond of shooters or those games that require a lot of joystick manipulation, while among seniors you will perhaps sell more strategy games.
