The Polygon token is getting popular in the gaming for crypto sphere. It is running on the Ethereum network. Reviews have it that it is very fast for online transactions.

How do you rate Polygon as a token?

So many DeFi apps are built on the polygon network. Even D-Apps are increasing in Polygon network adoption. It has good prospects.

Why Polygon token have short name MATIC? Usually short name is very similar to full name like BTC and Bitcoin or BCH for Bitcoin Cash. Matic and Polygon don't have much similarity.

I think that one is the network and the other is the token. I stand to be corrected though.

I have some Polygon Matic in my portfolio, but it's not one of my main bets, I see it as an Ethereum layer 2 to decongest the network, although it's still a very good project.

Following the trends and development if the Polygon token overtime, I won't agree less that it is a very good token.
