AVAX, better known as Avalanche (AVAX), is a native coin running on the Avalanche blockchain and launched in September 2020.
Avalanche is also known as the fastest smart contract platform currently available, capable of processing 4,500 transactions per second (TPS). AVAX currently ranks 20th on Coinmarketcap, with a price of $14.60. Its launch price (2020) was $5.35. Its ATH reached $146.22 per coin in November 2021, reaching an ATL of $2.80.

While AVAX fundamentally possesses many positive factors, such as scalability, speed, clear token utility, and long-term growth potential, generating passive income through AVAX staking, among others, technical indicators show mixed results, including a short-term bearish trend and numerous competing blockchains and tokens, such as Ethereum and Solana.

Personally, I believe AVAX has great potential, especially due to its speed and scalability, which are key aspects in today's blockchain market. Its ability to process 4,500 TPS truly puts it in a competitive position against other platforms like Ethereum or Solana, but it's also worth considering that its price still has plenty of room to grow, given that its all-time high was over $146. However, I can't ignore the technical signals indicating a short-term bearish trend and the fierce competition in the blockchain market. It's important for investors to conduct thorough analysis and not just be swayed by past performance or promises of growth, because things change rapidly in this market. In short, AVAX has potential, but it also presents risks that must be carefully evaluated before investing.

Looking at it's particular characteristics, it looks like a solid payment crypto. But those payment cryptos don't do well for long term investment. I would look pass Avax for long term investment.
