Is business even worth it at all? Competition can be so deadly?

This just happened in my city and I am forced to think if business is worth it at all. Two people that are into butchering business that sell close to each other. One of them was arrested over the death of the other. The arrested one has confessed to poisoning the deceased co-butcher through a drink. Reason? The deceased has been making more sales.

Is business even worth it when competition in business can make you lose your life?

Business is worth it. As a business person, you don't have any reason being close to your direct business competitor. They might get envious at any time.
