In running a business, we are often faced with two choices, namely increasing company growth or increasing profits. So which do you think is better, prioritizing business growth or increasing profits?
Even if you are not necessarily making profits and the company is growing, it is satisfactory because there is a stage that the company would grow to and profits would just rain naturally.
When your business shows growth that means it also grows profitably. There is no profit if the business has no improvement. The appearance of your business tells you something gaining or losing.
It all comes down to what the business requires. Prioritizing growth may mean new markets, product lines or acquisitions that will give a boost to market share and revenue etc. And, focusing on increasing profits may entail measures such as cost savings, process optimisation or price increases in order to minimise the risk.
