From the perspective of evolution, depression is frequently viewed as a bad phenomenon that arises from environmental adaptation to a diseased state. Many social, psychological, and biological elements combine in a complicated way to cause depression. A person's risk of developing depression is higher if they have experienced negative life experiences, such as trauma, loss, or unemployment. However, there are a lot of fallacies regarding depression, and they extend to civilization as well.
Given this, would you consider depression to be one of the drawbacks of civilization?
