Is encrypted data really secure?

The tech world has believed in encryption as being the new cool of data security. So many technologies that deal with data now encrypt data from end to end?

I want to ask if encryption of data from end to end is completely secure? Is there a possibility that one can intercept and decode encrypted data?

There are risks that encrypted data are vulnerable to but it is not a common thing like that. They are generally very secure.

I think the encycripted data is very secure in the sense that it becomes so hard for one to compromise on it
