Is fingerprint a must feature that you consider in getting a new smartphone?

In these days of biometric verification, smartphones now come with fingerprint scanners. Do you think that you can't use a smartphone that doesn't have a fingerprint scanner? Is it a compulsory feature for you?

While it is not a must feature, it is something i am already used to, so i definitely would want to see it in any phone i buy in the future.
