Before you buy something, google it on your phone right there in the store to see if a competitor has a cheaper price.

Just ask them nicely at the register and boom you almost always get it. I beat Best Buy up pretty bad with this.

Also, before buying a car, get several quotes from competitors for the exact model car you are buying. Save them on your phone.

It gives you negotiating leverage when you walk into the dealership.

I have saved thousands and used the proceeds to take a vacation. A dollar saved is a dollar earned.
