Is it a good idea to trade in the cryptocurrency through a friend?

For me l would urge that one becomes a good trader when they win and loose for a significant time. As the saying goes practice makes perfect, the person can perfect the art of trading with time. Unlike when one uses a friend to trade for them, they tend to remain beginners in the trading venture.

I think it's not a good idea at all. One might enjoy good profits but risk of being novice crypto traders for so long.

In this world now, you can't and shouldn't trust anyone. No matter how close they are, people can jus change in seconds and end up asbsconding with your crypto.

Everyone has their own interests and it might not align with your own interest. That's where scams can happen when you give someone your crypto to trade for you. Better to trade by yourself.

Why should you trade with a friend, why not use a platform where your funds are secured through escrow

I know that people invest funds for people to trade for them but it is not an ideal practice. You can easily get scammed. It is people that don't know crypto but want to earn from crypto that do such.

It depends on the skills of the investor, trader, time available and relationship. If the friend is an experienced investor who can be trusted, some investors may use their friends service.

I wouldn't advise anyone to do that. If you know that you can't take the time to learn and execute trades by yourself, rest. This kind of things are what kills friendship.
