Criminalizing medical errors can hinder the openness required to draw lessons from them and enhance patient care. This position statement explains why it's critical to focus on systemic flaws rather than criminal prosecution of errors in order to avert situations when errors cause patients harm or even result in certain deaths.

What do you think about this?
 
I think that it should not be criminalized because the doctor just makes a mistake and does not accidentally kill a person. I think he should be released and also he should pay a certain amount to his relatives but he should not be in prison
