Is it ethical to use animals for entertainment?

I was in a public transport a few days back and a guy was seriously complaining why it is wrong to use animals for any kind of entrainment. Personally i don't see anything wrong, as long as they are well fed and taken care of. What's your take in this?

It depends on individual perception and conscience. Personally, i don't see anything wrong with that once the person is not maltreating the animal.

I think it is okay as long as they are not maltreated, abused, or harmed in any way. Some people mistreat their animals while training them, and I am completely against it.
