If staff of an organization don't get paid for three consecutive months, and they decide to boycott their jobs in protest, have they done anything wrong in that case? Is boycott of duties a reasonable response to unpaid salaries?

If there has been notifications served to the management of the business, it is right for the staff to strike.

For strikes to be legit, they should be well planned and a three months prior notice for the employer to comply to the collective bargaining agreement, CBA led by a licensed trade union. Other than that the court of law can provoke and call of the strike.
