When it comes to location of a business, one of the best places to try and secure a spot is right inside campus. There is a ready market with money patronize diverse businesses that operate on campus.

I personally believe that there is no business that can fail right on campus. Do you believe it so?

Every business must be adapted to the location and consumers, if you build a gold shop on campus it will certainly fail, so the businesses that will be successful are businesses that provide for students' needs, as well as cheap restaurants because their finances are limited.

Your point is apt but it still depends on so many other things. If you build a gold shop in an elite school, it won't fail. But you are right on general terms.

There are days having no classes so expect no sale especially during s very long summer vacation or semestral break. Choose a strategic location.
That's the downside of a campus based business. The lack of sales when the college is in vacation. The business person has to prepare for such times. But during campus sessions, they make crazy money.

I really doubt that the business located on campus premises will fail. However, this does not mean it has 100 percent success rate. Sometimes it can fail if you have sold on credit line

It is still possible for a business to fail even when it is in a busy area like inside a campus. The kind of business also matters, for example if the students are not your target audience, it would be hard to make sales. It's like someone going to sell building materials in a school setup, the business owner won't get much traffic there. Another factor is the quality of your product or services and the price as well.

That's true especially if the business is set near the canteen. Many students buy any time especially during recess and lunch time. Summer vacation makes the business owners worry there are no students.
