I always hear that grants are one way of financing a business. In real life, I have not seen within my locality a business funded by a grant.

What does it take to get a grant to fund your business? What are the necessary steps that a business needs to take to qualify for a grant. Between a grant and a loan, which is easier to access?

The first step is to have a concrete business plan. Nobody can give grant or loan without seeing that business plan. Therefore, if you are seeking grant, make sure you have your business plan ready. On the other hand, i have not seen anybody that have receive grants in my locality.

Yes it's very possible to win grants for business, I have seen people win lots of grants. Though having your business registered officially makes it a lot easier to win these grants when you apply.

Government sometimes hive grants to farmers I don't really know about businesses that entails buying and selling but it is real for farmers

I have never seen someone that I know in real life getting grants. Even getting agricultural loans is very difficult for people to get.
