Is it possible to have a good plate of food for $5 in your country?

Honestly, no, unless you live in a country like Venezuela with a hyper-devalued currency, but even so, I think not, not even buying the most economical and cheap thing would cost you half of the things, so you wouldn't be able to eat a large dish, just something very, very simple

Yes, with $5, I can buy a good meal. There are many eateries here that offer meals at that price. It includes rice and probably two viands. To be honest, it used to be much cheaper before; with $5, you could get three viands.

With five dollars in my country, I should be able to cook something small and nice that can serve me for two or three times.
Yes this can help for a bachelor that doesn't need to put much into food cooked but this can't carry a family man or woman in this economy

I won't ever spend five dollars on a plate of food. I would use that amount to cook at home and still have some balance.

Exactly, it should carry me for several days, especially if I am the only one eating it. It's always cheaper to eat home made food, than eating out.
