Is it possible to teach emotional intelligence and leadership to a staff who doesn't have it?

One task that businesses always undertake when it has to do with their staff is training. That's to ensure that the staff gets better to keep on working.

Two of the skills that staff of a business organization need to perform well are emotional intelligence and leadership ability.

Can training impart that to a staff or it is a lost cause?

Anyone that did not have emotional intelligence growing up, it would he very difficult for the workplace to train him or her on that. But it is possible though.

I believe training is necessary to bring out the best in your staff. No matter the duration it will take, leadership training is continuous.

There are people that are teachable. They would actually calm down to learn the emotional intelligence. But it takes humility and being teachable.

Good question, I don't know. First and foremost, age matters a lot in this, because the older they get, the harder it is to instill these values. Second, I don't know, because for me, it all starts with one's own values as a person.

It is essential for the management to send their staff to a seminar-workshop to enhance their skills and abilities, being the backbone of the company or business.

Some things just need personal experience and learning for the personal to know and acknowledge the need for it.
