If a staff stops working in a business organization, not telling the boss or informing the organization, is it illegal such that the staff can be prosecuted? What is the criminal offence in ghosting your employer?
 
By law it is not really illegal, it is simply morally wrong, unless there is a legal contract between the employee and the employer, then legal action can be taken against the employee.
 
It only becomes legally wrong to ghost your employer if there is a running contract tat has a stipulated timeframe you should work with the employer before leaving.
Exactly, any other thing besides a legal contract, it would just be morally wrong do ghost an employee but not legally wrong.
