When we invest in any asset, we have expectations for the performance of that asset. And sometimes, the asset performs far higher than our expectations. At that point, is it the best approach to sell that asset that over-performed?

Is it greed to still hold on to over-performing investment assets?

When we are going to sell a high-performing asset, of course we have to consider whether the price of the asset is overvalued, whether the price can go higher, besides that we also have to pay attention to the trading volume.
Are you implying that if the asset has a potential to appreciate higher, we should not sell it, even when it has appreciated ten times already?

That does not mean that you can or cannot sell investments, and each investment instrument will have a different valuation method not based on the increase multiple (10X). For example, in stocks we avoid buying stocks that are overvalued and are even advised to sell them immediately. But in Fair Valued Stocks, investors can freely buy or sell, because the market price is still balanced with the intrinsic value

It depends on the asset and the investor, in my case, almost every time an asset has given me good returns I tend to sell, I rarely continue to hold the asset.
