Is it true that being clean heart is the beginning of poverty?

I have seen most people urging that being clean heart is welcoming poverty in your life. That is because many people in my region say that most people with clean hearts are languishing in poverty. That is because they give and give out even what they don't have. Do you agree with that?

No, I don't believe in that. Even as a giver you need to apply caution when giving. Even the holy book says love your neighbor as you live yourself, not more than your self. So why should I give and land myself in poverty

I don't accept this being clean heart can never be the beginning of poverty,I believe that once you have clean heart and willing to give definitely someone will also suprise you with Goodies so I think that having a clean heart is good because you will receive blessings from so many waysy

I don't think the idea have element of truth in it. Therr are a lot of people with good heart but are rich and wealthy. There are many people who are stingy and heartless that are poor like church rats. Poverty should not be measured by state of heart.

They were born poor from poor parents and they also do not find resources. They may also be lazy, so if you're a lazy poor you don't have a good heart and strong mind to fight poverty.

When I was little, my parents taught me to always have a clean heart, no cheating, or other evil tricks.
