I think that is fair enough. Unless the secretary doubles as the personal assistant to the boss, he or she might have to stay put.In the place where l currently work, the secretaries are obliged to leave when the time is over irregardless of the boss leaving time.

That's right but you know when you go to ask permission to go home then you are not following the official time because the boss can give a no answer which will keep you longer than the due timeA secretary also has working hours so that when the boss is still busy and it's time to go home from work, the secretary should ask permission from the boss first before going home.
