Take it or leave it. Human beings are not equal. No matter how you try to deny it, every business has VIP customers. They buy big, at a higher price than others and regularly make big orders.

Is it wrong as a business person to give this kind of big customers preferential treatment? Like attending to such a customer first before attending to another customer or allowing such a customer to jump the queue and get served first?

It's important to treat VIPs with special attention, but don't forget about your regular customers. Neglecting them could harm your business. They might spread the word that your business only caters to certain people.

There are definitely some customers who you treat differently. like myself I won't actually call them vip customers but there are does who I treat differently compared to others but at the same time I do not degrade anyone. I always make sure all my customers are respected.

Even the average customer should understand that there is a class system in this world. I have VIP customers and I give them that extra special treatment. I also give my average customers special treatment but not as much as I give my VIP customers.

I know treating all customers equally with a good manner is a best marketing strategy, but i also know that a customer who chooses me over another business owners and a customer who gives everything to shop from me deserves especial attention.

It is the special treatment that you give them that would make them to pay special amounts for your products or services. Other customers should just understand. But don't overdo to spite other customers.
