Is lobbying a bad thing for a business to do?

Some people always view the ability of a business to lobby and get more favours as bad. Lobbying has always been part of business.

Do you think that lobbying is a bad thing for a business?

I agree lobbying has always been part of business. it is just about trying to get more favours for your business but it should be done in such a way that's it is not harmful to others.

If you have an advantage in government or with persons or influence that you can leverage on to help get favours for your business, do it. The business world is a fierce place.

I don't know if there is a way a business can engage in lobbying without hurting other businesses. If there is a way, i believe lobbying by businesses would be considered okay. A business can even lobby for the whole industry.

When one business has the connects and can lobby to favour the whole industry, it is always a positive one.
