Is monetary rewards the best and only way to reward staff?

When it comes to staff management, rewards go a long way to encourage staff that have done well to even do better. But it seems that the best way to reward a staff is to give monetary rewards. Is it possible to reward staff without giving them money?

There are so many ways to reward the staffs. These includes the non monetary rewarding ways like provision of entertainment, recreational services to the workers.

All these kinds of incentives are given to only employees of big businesses in my country. It is not common for everyday employees.

Presents and gifts are all some sort of financial rewards too. And in this generation, anything that doesn't have a financial implication doesn't make sense at all.

I too have realized that because of the higher rates of inflation for that matter. People would really need money to sort up their personal problems.

Monetary rewards is not the only way to reward staff. Every staff has what matters to them and what they would value as a reward. Some prefer days off.
