I believe it depends, it should be a lucrative business when you are promoting the right music. There are some business that would definitely sell more than the others.
Yes, but sure the reason why am saying so is that music in a good thing for someone life many people love it by listening it so probably music promotion business in a good way.
If you have an history where songs it albums you promote always turn out hits, you would make money. But having success as a music promoter needs an extended time of building your profile but when it is tight, it starts paying very well.
This is what came to my mind it is about promoting the right music if you want it lucrative for you as a music promoter.

Yes, the major problem here might be trying to find out which one is the right music before you invest in it.
There is nothing like right music. If you are a music promoter, all what you need is connects. If you have tight connects, you can promote any requests rubbish and it would reign like a hit.

Don't think you can doing it without having some collaboration with top players in music industry. If you want to go to music promotion, it will be advisable to learn music marketing skills.
