Is popcorn business profitable?

One of the snacks that people love to eat is popcorn. And it seems people have not yet tapped into producing it. I intend to have a popcorn stand up at the entrance of a busy junction in my city.

Do you want think the popcorn business would be profitable? What would I do to make it work?

I think it is best on festivals. Even if you are on busy junctions people will not take popcorns for breakfast or lunch. On festivals is different oppinion since it is snack with drinks.

If a popcorn business is being operated in a city that has life, with that kind of location described, the popcorn business should do well.
