Is Renting Furniture More Economical Than Buying Furniture?

In my city, it is currently a trend that many people or households prefer to rent furniture rather than buy furniture. Personally, I think renting furniture is more practical and doesn't involve maintenance, furniture models can also be changed to fill the room so it doesn't get boring. Apart from that, buying furniture and interior for a room also requires big money, so it will drain our wallet, but will renting furniture save more than buying furniture?

Renting furniture is not so common in India and is not popular but I have seen ads where in we can rent even an air conditioner and I guess it's not a bad option as you don't run Air conditioner for whole year but furniture is one such thing which we need for a whole year.

This is the first time am hearing about renting furniture. I don't think we rent furniture here. You either buy or you stay without. In all, i don't think renting furniture is more preferable than buying one.

I think it's popular for those that do not have a fixed accommodation and need to change their job or experience regular transfers and this way they can rent the furniture for a short time

Renting furniture is not popular in my place. If you go to Ikea or local furniture shops, you can always buy good value for money furniture. Then you don't need to pay for rent every month.

Renting would make you spend more. After renting, you would need to transport these furniture to your house, then after using, you have to transport it back. You have to also pay for damages if there is any. It's better you just buy yours and be done with it once and for all.

It's not happening here in the Philippines. We prefer to buy. In renting I think it requires a contrast to pay in case there's damage to the furniture.

It depends on the type of furniture you want for your house. If cheap plastic furniture is adequate it will be cheaper to purchase the furniture, but if you want expensive wooden or other furniture it may be better to rent it.

There is none here in our country renting a furniture, people in the Philippines buy not rent. It is not happening here even before.
